As part of its long-term succession planning and in line with its diversity concept, the Supervisory Board appointed Dr. Melanie Maas-Brunner as a member of the Board of Executive Directors on December 17, 2020. The Board of Executive Directors therefore temporarily comprised seven members from February 1, 2021, until the departure of Wayne T. Smith as of May 31, 2021.
